After launching my design journey in NYC more than a decade ago, I brought the same love for interior design, architecture, and construction to the west coast. Having worked on the consultant, client, and owner sides in different project types and scales, I understand and uphold the balance between design excellence, construction quality, cost and time, and project communication. Every project has its own unique sensibilities but it all begins with a simple and thoughtful dot. We are more than ready to help guide it into your next dream project.

A former biochemist who ran from the lab to the garden and never looked back.

My designs are influenced by my past lives - scientist, gardener, houseplant orderer, wine worker, etc. I have always been tethered to my profound love of plants and walking through strange and beautiful places. I am confident that my balance of grit and whimsy combined with past experiences will help achieve the garden that captures your heart.

I joined BLD as an intern while pursuing my B.Arch. at Cal Poly Pomona. Gaining real-world experience while in school helped shape the way I approach design today. After graduating, I'm excited to continue growing as a designer and seeing our projects come to life.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER, FABRICATION SPECIALIST

Justin Li holds a BFA in Interior Design and a Master of Architecture from the University of Southern California. A hands-on designer with a strong interest in emerging technology, Justin is skilled in architectural fabrication, visualization, and representation. He is constantly researching new tools and methods and has a natural ability to identify more efficient ways to complete each task. Resourceful, collaborative, and always willing to help.

Justin brings both technical creativity and practical problem-solving to the BLD team.

Anna is a partnering engineer from ATAM Engineering, a comprehensive structural engineering consulting firm serving residential and commercial clients across Southern California. She specializes in structural analysis for both new and existing structures with a broad range of experience in seismic and wind design of custom residential homes to special structures with unique geometries.

I bring hands-on expertise to every scope of work and partner directly with homeowners, architects, and contractors to deliver practical structural solutions from concept to completion.
